MobX

Terms of Use

Who may call the MobX Schema API, the published rate limits, and how to get access.

Scope

These terms govern access to this API service — the api.mobx.be endpoint, its quota, and the support relationship behind it. Voetgangersbeweging vzw operates the service and can grant or refuse access to it. These terms do not claim any rights over the underlying data the service serves.

Who may use this service

API access is currently in private beta. Use requires a prior agreement with Voetgangersbeweging vzw. To discuss access, email antonie.vanloon@publiekeruimte.info before integrating.

An agreement is how Voetgangersbeweging vzw keeps the service usable for everyone: it is the mechanism for coordinating quota, being told about a new integration before it shows up as unexplained traffic, and having a named contact on both sides if something breaks.

Rate limits

Every route except /health/* and /robots.txt enforces a limit of 600 requests per 60-second window. The budget is shared across all callers rather than allocated per caller, so an integration cannot assume the full window is available to it — traffic from other clients counts against the same limit.

A request rejected for rate limiting receives HTTP 429 with problem type urn:mobx:problem:rate-limited and a Retry-After header stating how many seconds to wait.

These are defaults tuned for the service's current traffic and infrastructure, not a contractual ceiling — they can change as real usage patterns emerge. An access agreement with Voetgangersbeweging vzw is the way to discuss a higher or dedicated quota.

No warranty

This service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including without limitation warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Voetgangersbeweging vzw does not guarantee uptime, response times, or that the data is free of errors, and is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this service.
