Infrastructure

Infrastructure objects cover everything in the public space tied to public transport, shared transport, and public services. They follow the GeoJSON schema, then elaborate on it with a strict definition of the properties member — anything not described below is rejected rather than passed through.

Some highlights:

• An opinionated format for provider-specific information in the providers property, so shared mobility and transit operators can be named consistently across cities.
• A comprehensive set of class properties that describe the attributes specific to each kind of infrastructure, selected by the required class value.
• Detailed source attribution through sources, tracking provenance down to individual properties.

Geometry is restricted to Point, LineString, Polygon, or MultiPolygon — whichever fits the asset being described.
