Infrastructure map features
How GeoJSON geometry, shared properties, and infrastructure classes fit together.
Infrastructure objects describe public transport, shared transport, and public services in the
same GeoJSON Feature format. Each feature has an id, a geometry, and a properties object.
The generated infrastructure reference defines the
current fields and their validation rules.
Geometry
The geometry can be a Point, LineString, Polygon, or MultiPolygon, depending on the asset.
A bench can be represented by a point; a larger site may need a polygon. Coordinates use GeoJSON
order: longitude, then latitude.
Properties
Shared properties identify the feature's theme, type, version, subtype, and class.
The class selects any class-specific fields in class_properties. The
class pages show which fields apply to each asset.
Use providers for organisations operating a service, names for human-readable names, and
sources to attribute individual property values to their datasets. Source paths use JSON Pointer
notation; the MobX object reference documents that shared convention.
